Disable "Themes" in Windows7 or download the latest version available at http://www.genopro.com/monica/ which contains the fix.
Or upgrade to GenoPro 2011 which contains the fix.

I bought a new laptop, and I moved Genopro 2.0.1.6 into windows 7, everything works except the Genomaps seem to be locked. I cannot use the tab button or double click on them to add or delete. The only way I can see whats in the other tab is to go into File, properties, then click on Genomaps...I even tried to start a new project and the other two genomaps are locked. Did I hit some thing by mistake?

If you are logged in as a Customer - not Forum Member you can go to
http://collaboration.genopro.com/Account.aspx
Scroll down to see 'Online publications' and click the View/hide link (You will have done this if you have used Passwords)
Against your list of publications there are two links, either edit or delete.
This is the link I was talking about. It will open a menu headed Publication setting.
This is the area where odd things can happen. I have again found that repeated changes of password can confuse the protection system of a report.
My suggestion is that you select the Hidden style of setting and Update it. The reason I suggest Hidden is that it seems to clear the password confusion but still hides you report.
Check that the report can now be loaded from this collaboration page.
Close the report and go back and set a password. Update to make it active
This worked for me

If you can not go through these steps then let us know. I was surprised you said you could not see your report

It does look as though password protection does have some slight problems if you change passwords. I went to the page
http://collaboration.genopro.com/Account.aspx
and selected one of my reports and protected it. When loading it first asked for the password, without problem. I then went back and changed the password, which caused confusion. On reloading I was asked for the password in three different sections of the report and could not get all of it working. So I suggest trying what I had to do to get my report working.

Go to the edit page and select Hidden as report type. (Update of course to make this active)
Load the report onto your PC (just checking!)
Close this browser window
Back to edit page and set up password. (Do not change it! that seems to cause problems)
Test load. You should be asked for password and hopefully the report will appear.
The password stays active that day - or possibly until a re-start of the PC

Hope that works. I have never had this sort of problem before - but I had set passwords using the earlier version of the forum

No go on the password.  I changed it, was very careful in entering it, and still no go.  I put up another tree a few days ago with one password that's different.  Is that a problem?  There's room in the program window for any number of generated reports.  Why is this all screwed up?  No matter which password I enter, I still can't access my main Family Tree!!!

If you enter the wrong password at the log-in screen it will just clear that box. I have just tried this and then entered the correct password. Try again and check things such as Caps Lock: as you know, passwords are case sensitive but if, like me, you are not a good typist that lock can get overlooked - and the password is **** so you do not notice.

I generated my report, checked and double-checked the password, and when I upload the report, the program directs me to a GenoPro screen asking for the password.  I give it the password and it simply erases it and does nothing.  This is very frustrating.  What's the problem?

Many thanks for your rapid response, it seems I have many options as you have succinctly and helpfully explained.  I will now browse through them at leisure and try to decide which will best suit my needs.  Thankyou.
