On Config.xml - If i set "fGoogleMapsLink" to NO, then the google map is not displayed when I enter to a "place" page.
<fGoogleMapsLink Desc="Otherwise it is shown as a collapse/expand line in the place details popup page." T="Show place 'Google Map' in 'popup' frame via a hyperlink?" Default="N" O1="Y:yes" O2="N:no" Type="bool" />

I thought this was fixed in version 2011.06.08 (see http://support.genopro.com/Topic28477.aspx). Let me know if it is still a problem with this or a later version.
A map is not shown if the place name cannot be resolved to a location by the Google Maps API. Perhaps an error message should be shown in such cases. I also recommend that the Configuration Parameter Dialog is used to set options rather than editing Config.xml

The prolem is still on verstion 21.7.2011.
Look at the attached Jpg. Googlemap should recognize "CANADA". but as you can see there is a blank space on the "Place" html file, instead of the map.
The problem is when you set "fGoogleMapsLink" to NO.
I don't think that the problem is with the "recognitaion of the Place" by google. Canada should be recognized by google in any case.
I prefer to edit config.xml only once, since I have many modifications from the "default" parameters.

Sorry you are indeed correct, inline maps were not being displayed when a place has no Longitude/Latitude coordinates. should be ok with version 2011.07.23

Sorry again! Could have sworn that I had added the zip file. A bit chaotic here at present with grand children running around so I'll blame it on them.

Thank you
The inline map inside the "placeXX" html file ", works just fine now.
BTW - I've noticed that when entering, "Overview Map of all geocoded places", you can see on the map only places with specific Long/Lat coordinations.
I think it should display all places which are recognized by google.
