I found here old discussion
about
feature called "tag formatter" that could be used to define custom text to display in diagram in form like "{
marriage.date
-
wife
.
birth
.date}" etc. (
http://support.genopro.com/Topic5887-58-1.aspx
I could not find this feature in latest GenoPro. Was this feature forgotten or did I miss something?
It would be great to be able to define custom string for
individuals
and marriages to display in form like "{birth.date} - {birth.
place
}" etc.

Since that discussion was from 2005 I guess it has been forgotten along with other tantalising features such as a macro facility. There have been several requests for a road map of proposed development but nothing has materialised as yet.
In its absence the nearest thing is the
XML toolkit
that will allow you to format existing tags into a custom tag for display above the gender symbol or to create family line labels (e.g. with marriage data) in a similar way.
It is not fully integrated with GenoPro and nor is it dynamic, requiring a separate run each time you wish to
update
the data.
