I tried to use the new Narrative skin version 2013_07_30 with the following results:
The generator does not stop to display a parameters setting procedure. It runs straight to the end of the generation procedure.
The log at the end shows 2 errors:
[0.07] Error copying folder 'Code\themes\\files' to destination report: the folder cannot found in the report skin
and
[0.60] Error: Configuration parameter 'LangShowOthers' is invalid 8 /
The Report Generator generates the usual set of files. But I can't open the generated report and I noticed that its files are very short (incomplete).
For instance, opening the file "default.html" displays an incomplete page with only:

All the individual html files I opened with Notepad stopped at this "javascript" line of code.

That is strange. I assume you left the checkbox under the Options tab for Parameter Configuration Settings clear?
Also I have only seen the error regarding LangShowOthers when an old Config.xml is used with a later skin. Did you run the skin 'as is' or did you make changes? I would help if you posted the Report Log. I will release a revision 2013.08.02 shortly. Perhaps you could try that.
