Can you clarify the last bit here?
Do the
husband
, wife, children, and
marriage link
appear on both
genomaps
?
Or the husband, children, and hyperlinked wife on his genomap, and the wife on her genomap?
If you could
include a picture
, it would be much appreciated!

Use
hyperlinks
, so that there are no duplicates.
To start I suggest (not being sexist, but got to start somewhere) on your display select your wife and Move her to her own display. Right click will open a menu where you can select Move.
On this second display, assuming that the two versions are identical, delete the existing record and then link the transferred record. Again select it, right click and use Link as Parent.
Repeat for children but here use Link as Child.
If you use the
Report
then it is advisable to modify the family properties. Select the
marriage
line and open it and open the
Summary
tab. Click the box Make
Label
/Exclude From Report. This will avoid duplicates here.

Situation
My .
GED file
consists of two GenoMaps. The first map traces my family and the second map traces my wife's family.
Consequently, there are a few
individuals
that are common to both maps and too often I
update
one map without remembering to update and other map with common individuals.
Question:
How do I link the common individuals in such a manner that both maps are automatically updated regardless of the map updated?
