Links between GenoMaps

The first map traces my family and the second map traces my wife's family. Consequently, there are a few individuals that are common to both maps and too often I update one map without remembering to update and other map with common individuals. Question: How do I link the common individuals in such a manner that both maps are automatically updated regardless of the map updated?
