Hi
At the risk of getting yawned at again, I'm still having issues generating a report. My old one seems to have disappeared (I had taken a hiatus of 2 years working on my tree so I have no idea when it vanished) and when I try to generate a new one, I'm getting "The response from server invoking web method 'Login' is corrupted or unknown format" Even though my login credentials are fine.

TasksIf you have not used the program for a while but have upgraded to the latest version then make sure you have downloaded the latest skin and then create a report on your PC. Then if that works it is obviously a network problem.

The fact that you get the same error both when generating a report and doing an online backup suggests to me a problem with the GenoPro server(s). Perhaps Jean-Claude can comment on this.
I have just tried an online backup which worked fine so perhaps it was a transitory issue?

I have the feeling something is modifying the content of what is send to the server. This can be something like a virus that insert adds for instance.
While it may or not be the problem, I find it weird that indeed it was working well and stopped in november. On my side; we haven't deploy this code since your last update. Do you have any new 3rd party application installed on your computer?

Thank you for your replies.Just to be clear, I have downloaded the new version, I have followed the instructions regarding downloaded the latest skin and then creating a report on my PC (because I was previously getting the SQL error that seems to pop up so regularly) but just to be clear Jean-Claude, this is the first time in 2 years that I have tried to create backups or generate reports, and when I say my old one has vanished, I mean that the online backup that was on here has disappeared at some point in the last 2 years. Hope that's a little clearer? Thanks again for your replies

Yessum I can see them
My problem is when I try to use them, and more importantly for the rest of my family when I try to click on the link of the Online Publications, I get a "Page Not Found, The report may be incomplete" message.

OK, so after some jiggery pokery involving firewalls, it will now let me publish both the backups, and the Online Publications
HOWEVER when the Online Publications is finished, it doesn't display any error messages but is only a few pages, none of which are available when you click on the link from my account. I am now trying the solution you suggested in your link to the other support thread, so thank you for that genome
