Legendary Master Administrators Customers Important Contributors FamilyTrees.GenoPro.com GenoPro version: 3.1.0.1 Last Login: Yesterday @ 6:34 AM Posts: 3,504, Visits: 27,491	This update has been superceded. see http://support.genopro.com/Topic40608.aspx It has updates to the Kinship Calculator in all four existing language versions DE, EN, FR & NL-BE. I have attempted to normalise the scripts for these versions and they now share common 'Code' folder. Changes have been made to the Dictionary.xml files to allow for this 'normalisation'. I have also modified the Narrative Report skins to share with the Kinship Calculator the same 'Code' folder under a folder named just 'Common' rather than 'Narrative Common'. These skin folders now have a placeholder folder named Code that gets replaced by the revised bootstrap script on first run with a link to the Common\Code folder. Use of the placeholder folder removes the need to click 'Generate' again after the link is created. I recommend that you create a new GenoPro Report Skins folder and download and unzip the attached file into that folder. You can then direct GenoPro to use this new folder under the Options tab the the Tools/Generate Report dialogue. This will allow simple regression to previous versions of the skins should you deem it necessary, i.e. if I've got something wrong! The new structure looks better to me. Also did some simple tests using the files straight out of the ZIP kit (like a new user would do). EN Narrative Report - runs OK EN Descendant_Tree - runs OK EN Descendants Report - no report produced (can someone else confirm this?) EN Kinship Calculator - runs OK (some remarks on the report were made elsewhere in the forum) NL-BE Verhalend Rapport (= EN Narrative) - runs OK NL-BE Afstammelingen Schema (= EN Descendant_Tree) - throws an error for Config.xml at line 15 because DescendantTree.js is missing (and possibly others). NL-BE Afstammelingen Rapport (= EN Descendants Report) - throws an error for Config.xml at line 17 because Main.js is missing (idem). NL-BE Verwantschap (= EN Kinship Calculator) - runs OK EN Descendants Report [UPDATE]: The 'Parameter Settings' form is not displayed, so I could not select the output medium. Don't have MS Word so can't check that. I was aware of problem with {NL-BE} Afstammelingen Schema and {NL-BE} Afstammelingen Rapport. I just downloaded them from your website without realising they were not the full skin (no scripts). Should have read your instructions and tested! Will fix soon but have been working for couple days on an idea to implement a shared dictionary without any changes to GenoPro.exe. Its nearly ready so hopefully will include in next update. Essentially its a skin, say {NL-BE} Shared Dictionary, that holds the Dictionary.xml to be shared and when excuted creates soft links to it for all other skins for the same language.
