I am trying to send the genogram to a client.  When client clicks on it in email it should open and client should see what I see.  Instead client is being asked to download software and is being asked for a resigration key.

If you just want your client to see an image of the genomap rather than being able to view the properties of individuals (e.g. comments etc.) then simply 'print' your genomap as a PDF via a PDF printer and send than instead of your .gno file.

If your client has a Windows PC he/she can install GenoPro and view your .gno file without needing a key.

Alternatively you could publish your .gno as a report on a web site with a password and give access that way to all the information you may have added. see for example A GenoPro viewer for tablets and smartphones

Thanks I'm going to send as a pdf to my client.   I will see if that works better.

Genograms are also a great way to document your work with clients, especially if you’re working as a case manager or genetic counselor. As part of documentation, it’s common for case managers to send their client a PDF of their completed genogram for feedback.
