Editing a report does not created a copy

According to
https://genopro.com/help/report-generator/customizing/
pressing edit creates a copy of the current report. It does not it just opens the folder. No prompts are given.
I have tried copying a report (as described if you press new skin) but it throws up errors saying I have to delete the code sub folder. So what is there left to customise? I have tried copying a theme but that doesn't work either.
So my question is: is there actually a
place
where I can
find
how to make a viable copy of a
report
that I can customise?
