I have this weird situation with my computer. My grandfather did an extensive family tree in Genopro, but I can't open the file on my computer. I have tried to use his version of the program (1.90d), but no luck. The old program simply fails to open it, the new version gives me an error message claiming it can't find the file's location, even though it's right there. I can open the sample files with no problem in both the old and new versions.

He tried showing me how to get it running on his other laptop using the very same files that he sent me - and he had no problem installing the old version of the program and opening the file. I tried taking a second copy home in case something got corrupted on the way, but it's still the same story on my end. I checked my firewall and that's not reporting any activity, and that's it for my troubleshooting ideas. Any tips on what else I can try?
