installing in new computer

Hi everyone, I'm in a similar situation and had a related question.

If I move GenoPro to a new computer using my existing registration key, will all of my custom settings (such as report preferences, templates, and print layouts) transfer automatically with the .gno file, or do those need to be copied separately from the old PC?

I'd like to make sure I don't overlook anything before retiring my old computer. Thanks!

You can copy settings from your old computer by exporting settings on your old computer to a file by typing the following in a Windows command prompt (cmd) reg export HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DanMorin.com\GenoPro genopro,reg copy the file genopro.reg to your new computer e.g. via usb stick or cloud storage (OneDrive, Google Driive etc.) then on your new computer after installing GenoPro importing the settings again from a Windows command prompt: reg import genopro.reg 'lego audio video erro ergo disco' or "I read, I listen, I watch, I make mistakes, therefore I learn"

If you have a license key, re-enter it on the new installation to activate the software. Open your transferred files in GenoPro to continue your work. It does not save images' Obtain a new copy of Genopro from https://genopro.com/download/ Check that your existing system has the latest version as there are slight, important, variations.
