'Custom Markup' is one of several mechanisms to tailor your Narrative Report to your own requirements and has been available for some 18 years and was documented in the post

This post provides a minor fix to the 'Evaluate Expression' (i.e. v or value) option to allow it to work correctly on the home page via the Document Description field in your .gno. The fix is applied by downloading the attached Util.vbs file and replacing the existing Util.vbs file in your Report Skins Common\Code folder. Without this fix an error will occur if attempt is made to use it for Home page.

But first ensure your are using the latest Report Skin Templates, currently version 2025.03.30 (see Updates to Report Skin Templates since GenoPro 2020 version 3.1.0.1)

As an example, to add the report generation date to the Home page of your Narrative Report edit the Document Description field (in GenoPro click File / Properties and then click Document tab)

Add the text to Description field:

When the report is generated, the following will appear on the home page
