Dan,
will the genomaps crossing problem also be fixed?
i.e. when a marriage crosses genomaps, the person is somehow married to Unknown....
rgds,
Ronald

Not this problem. This issue has been there for a long time (since the introduction of the GenoMaps). You are welcome to read the details at Topic6218-59-1.aspx
Fixing this bug will require a fair amount of work. I don't want to delay Beta13f. I can release Beta13g in a few more days...

I was a little puzzled since the referenced topic describes siblings. I am talking about marriages, but looking at the exact content, I think you're right to expect that this marriage problem is caused by the same thing.
Effectively any relation from an individual which is in one of the earlier (in the list) genomaps, whereas its hyperlinked copy has relations in later genomaps will not reveal those relations from the later genomaps when generating the data for the individual within the earlier genomap.
Am I correct in describing the issue?

Ronald

Yes, indeed. Resolving the problem is not a "Sunday Afternoon" fix.

Dan,
Having 13f would be good. It will definitely limit the amount of time it takes me to run a single report. (since it always crashes  )...
Would 13g contain the cross-genomaps fix? I am so curious since I am almost finished with my translation/report and having so many individuals cross genomap hyperlinks, I don't want to publish the site until that bug is fixed....
...and of course, the most horrible question of all......
Any ETA for 13g?
rgds,
Ronald

Probably a week. This issue is a high priority on my list. During the past month, I have been working on many things, including shopping for new support forum (http://support.genopro.com/) and a re-design of the website GenoPro.com.

It seems it's even more generic, and therefore probably even more harder to fix :-(
Since one of my ancestors was married 4 times, and since the tool cannot handle that properly, I created an internal hyperlink in the same Genomap. When generating the report, it also misses 3 of out 4 of the marriages.

Roald

Have tried the new report and, so far found two problems with pictures that need to be passed to the htm experts.
First: Mozilla displays the first picture but does not retrieve any others on the list.
Second: IE6 does move through pictures but the first new image appears as a thick blue line. Subsequent pictures behave correctly, although I did see one example where retrieval of the initial image caused it to be the wrong aspect ratio, corrected later.
These 'features' were present in early versions of the Ron's version, so hopefully can be sorted soon. ?2.13g?
The only other thing noted so far is that the hyperlinks within a family are only one way. Links are shown to parents and children but only the parent link works. This is in both IE6 and Mozilla.
Just looked at this again and it is slightly more complicated. A link to a child works first time round but can not be repeated. Will investigate further

Thanks for your comments. Again, I wish I had more time to test all this before releasing Beta 13f. During the past 3 days, I worked a solid 40 hours of highly productive work. I am still in the "sprint mode" where I get about 4 to 5 hours of sleep per night. I am trying to get some sleep, but there are too many things are going on in my head... in the middle of the "night", I wake up to fix something and I end up working the whole "day".
