Hi,

I am trying to make a legend on my genogram with a symbol plus a written description of what the symbol means.  I´ve created a large text box with lots of symbols inside, but the problem is I can´t write text where I want to which should be next to each symbol.  When you write in the text box and have symbols too, everything gets displaced and moved around.  Is there a way to include written text on the genogram anywhere I want it?  How do I access this feature?

Thanks!

GenoPro Beta15b has 3 built-in type of legends: 1) Genogram Symbols, 2) Family Relationships and 3) Emotional Relationships as displayed in the menu below.

For instance, the default legend for the genogram symbols does appear as follows.  You can then customize the legend and/or remove unwanted symbols.

Yes indeed.  All the toolbar buttons have been redone and the menus are using those icons.  It looks very good.

Not to be difficult, but on the legend you showed you are missing the symbols for: pet unknown gender (very important if you ask me), abortion, stillbirth (very important) and possibly identical twins. I would be very happy if you would add them also.

Beta15b is available.  I added two type of genogram legends: 1) Common Genogram Symbols and 2) All Genogram Symbols.

It looks great. Very useful.

I have a problem though. The legend is on my Individual list. Those legend need to be treated as objects "out of the family tree" and not part of it. You can find "First Name: Abortion" in my tree...

Is there a way to separate those objects from the list of Individuals?

Those individuals are excluded from the report, however will appear in the Table Layout.  Until GenoPro offers a genuine legend object, those legend symbol objects will behave as regular individuals.

Why not show this legend as picture or somthing similar?
