When I attempt to open my students' genograms through Blackboard, I hear a deep "thunk" sound and it won't open the document.

Please
help
--I teach a
Marriage
and
Family
master's in counseling class for Liberty University, and I
purchased GenoPro
2007 a couple of
years
ago. Over the past few months whenever I have attempted to open a
genogram
document (.gno) through Blackboard, I hear a deep "thunk" sound and it won't open the document. The genograms are due this weekend and I need to be able to grade them. I'd really appreciate help to get my GenoPro software up and running again so I can do the grading.
Thanks!

Do you have permissions to access the .gno file through Blackboard? What
error
message do you get?

I don't know if I have permission from Blackboard. I never used to need it to make the program work correctly and open the documents. I can't tell what error message I get, because it makes that low, echoey "thunk" sound and disappears really quickly. I'll try to investigate the permission aspect, but I don't know where to begin. Any clues?
Thanks,

If GenoPro had an error opening the file, GenoPro would display a message
about
it. GenoPro does not make any sound when an error occurs.
Can you
download
or save the GenoPro (.gno) file on your local computer or a memory/usb stick? If so, please send me your GenoPro file and I will see if I can open it.
