I was assigned a 2016 registration key in an support email from you as follows:

GenoPro Support Forum
http://support.genopro.com/

New 2016 registration key:   7NZ-xxx-xxx-ZKS
Golden Key invoice # 6xxx

(The xs are mine)

When I try to use it the dialogue box always says," ...the registration key is not valid. You must enter the whole registration key , not just the first characters...".

What am I to make of this?  can you send a response to my email?

Also, does the 2016 version open fdb files from  Legacy Family Tree software?

Cheers,

Rob

As you are shown on the forum as a "Customer", you should be able to view and retrieve your registration key(s) from the forum website

When you are logged in to the forum, click on the "My Profile" tab on the bar to the right of the "Welcome xxxx (Logout)" text

Then click on the "GenoPro" tab to the far right of the tabs list (you may need to click on this more than once, as sometimes this will come up with an empty screen)

When the tab responds with your profile information , navigate to the "Registration Key" section and click on "Manage",
this will show your registration key or keys if you have more than one.

You can copy and paste your registration key from here into GenoPro's registration dialogue

I do not know if GenoPro 2016 will open fdb files from  Legacy Family Tree software, GenoPro 2011 would not directly open this type of file.
If GenoPro 2016 will not open fdb files, it may be that some forum member may have both
Legacy Family Tree software and GenoPro installed, and could convert your data for you.

Hope this helps,
Martyn

Some old GoldenKeys are not recognized by the script calculating the $15 discount.  I added a new key for GenoPro 2011 to your GenoPro account.  If you witsh to upgrade to GenoPro 2016, please use this key instead of your GoldenKey.
Hint: your new key starts with 7DF-9YX

Edit: I noticed you have two accounts of GenoPro. I merged them so you may access your GenoPro account from either email.  I also noticed you purchased GenoPro twice, once in 2004, and once 2014.  We cannot issue refunds on purchases older than 6 months, so I gave you a free update of GenoPro 2016.  You should have received an email with your new registration key of GenoPro 2016 (hint: your key starts with 3-EJQX-H7ET).  When GenoProX will be available, we will run a script through all our users in our database to give a credit to those who accidentally purchased our product more than once.  For us, it is impossible to know a double purchase was made if the user purchased GenoPro with two different email addresses, as the email address is our only way to "identify" our users.  We do not store credit cards in our database, so we cannot tell if the same credit card was used more than once, and therefore determine if multiple purchases were made by the same user.
