Hello,
I have a
tree
in Root Magic 8 it is 1,769,489 entries/records It covers 4000
years
I tried to
print
my 33 GGF descendants, it didn't happen, I allowed thirty minutes for it to process - IT DIDN'T Will your software process this much.
William Wallace (braveheart is my 32st GGU) "William the Conqueror" is my 25th GGF - Tila of Hun is 44th GGF a lot work unable to print.
Ancestral Quest software could print large files, 36,000 pages 70 reams of paper, but couldn't handle the growing tree (at this time tree was 1.6 million) so have added a lot more with roots magic.
Please tell you have a program that can print large files - my computer is at 16 MB Ram computer that handled 36K pages was 8 MB Ram.
Here's hoping,

If you genuinely want to do this, it's going to be a lot of additional work.
First you need to
export a GEDCOM
file from your current software, and then import it into GenoPro.
When you initially display it in GenoPro, it will be a tangled mess, since the
individuals
in your tree don't have x and y coordinates yet.
Before you spend the hours it will take to untangle your tree, go visit your local print shop and figure out what your plotting
options
are. Some shops will only do A0. Others will print a 4' high roll for 100' or 150'. Others will have 5' rolls or 6' rolls. Larger paper sizes will cost exponentially more, and prices can vary significantly from shop to shop.
I'd recommend picking one ancestor, maybe 6 or 7 generations back, and plotting all of their descendants. It's difficult to estimate how many hundreds (or thousands) of people that might be.
Once you know the cost to print and the limitations, and approximately how many people you want to display, create a box around the perimeter of your
genomap
in GenoPro, and use the appropriate sizes to get all the generations to fit in the amount of real estate you have. There are guidelines for how big a
font
should be on a
poster
when you are standing 3' away.
