I can see that my pages on FamilyTrees were accessed the last time on August 5. So the service has not been down for several weeks as you claim. The 503 error translates into "service is unavailable", and is probably caused by a denial of service attack like it was described in the earlier replies.

It was up a couple of months ago, but down for the past 2 weeks or more.
What is the long term future of GenoPro? Is there a support team or is that a one-man show?

Thanks Dan and Genome... We can direct our info to Dan the next time then... Any way we can help prevent/mitigate it not happening in the future? Is the hardware/software getting outdated?

familytrees.genopro.com runs under Microsoft's (ancient) IIS (Internet Information Server) software. Occasionally it throws a wobbly and shuts down the application pool when it has crashed too many times. Probably some sort of out of memory issue. Essentially GenoPro Inc. is a one man operation and the owner & developer, Dan Morin, is STILL focused heavily on coding/testing the GenoPro replacement, i.e. GenoProX and IMHO does not pay much attention to the forum or famillytrees.genopro.com But having given Dan the heads up earlier today that there was an issue with familytrees he was quickly able to restart it.
